RMS and Its Associates Work Together to Give Back

Headquarters/Bethlehem PA, U.S.A.: RMS, the leader in business-to-business Accounts Receivable (A/R) Management, places a very high value on giving back to our communities and the world around us. To support that, the company encourages all of their offices and associates to participate in a variety of Community Outreach Programs with RMS cash matching, or adding to, the donations collected. Each RMS office selects the non-profit organizations they would like to support.

These organizations have included:

“Despite the economic situation and pinch everyone is experiencing from that, our RMS Associates continue to dig deep and give big,” stated Carol King, RMS Vice President of Human Resources. “We are amazed by the generosity we see and how it continually exceeds what we anticipate. It is our pleasure to match, or add to, these donations in support of the many worthy organizations selected.”

Each November, RMS Associates in the corporate headquarters create teams to put together baskets containing a complete Thanksgiving holiday meal for a family of four. This year over 60 baskets were donated to which RMS then added a gift certificate for a free turkey. In December, items will be collected at several RMS offices for both children and families to help their holidays be brighter. Last year, one office collected over 240 toys for underpriveledged children while another collected enough various gifts for 10 total families. Recently another office, in conjunction their community electric power company, created a matching donation program that netted $4,000 for a local food bank.

RMS’ headquarters cafeteria is overflowing with the more than 60 Thanksgiving food baskets donated by the company associates. Each basket fed a minimum of 4 people with RMS adding a free turkey gift certificate to them all before they were delivered.
