Marlborough, Mass. – American Profit Recovery, a collection agency based in Michigan, Massachusetts and North Carolina, participated in the Collector’s Challenge Month this past April and raised nearly $2,000 for the Association of Credit and Collection’s International Education Foundation. Employees from all three offices participated in activities for their second consecutive year to generate dollars that were in part then matched by American Profit Recovery. Monies raised by APR will go toward the Foundation which acts as the philanthropic arm of ACA International. It is designed to increase financial literacy in the United States by supporting research, job training and educational programs in the area of credit and collections.

Collection agency American Profit Recovery takes part in a number of charitable events during the year such as cancer walks and other community service projects and they are always strongly supported by employees. During Collector’s Challenge Month APR team members raised money by participating in a NCAA bracket challenge, paying for the opportunity to dress causal in the office and also held a weekly raffle where employees could win gift cards, Extra vacation time, “lunch with the Boss”, and other items.

In addition to their participation in Collector’s Challenge Month, APR also takes part in additional ACA initiatives, such as: Ask Doctor Debt and National Credit Education Week.
