The chief operating office for Ernst & Young has called for an internal investigation into the accounting firm?s recent publication and retraction of a report on China?s non-performing loans, according to a Financial Times story.



Ernst & Young will send compliance officials, among other staff, to investigate the publication of the report. According to some at Ernst & Young, the report did not go through the normal vetting process.
