A federal court on Friday rejected a motion to throw out a shareholder lawsuit against mortgage finance company Fannie Mae, which faces a multibillion-dollar profit restatement, and former executives.


District of Columbia U.S. District Judge Richard Leon is expected to set dates for trials and pretrial proceedings at a hearing on February 23.
