American Coradius is closing up shop in the Western New York Village of Arcade.  Most of its employees will be transferred to its two other Western New York locations.

The spaced leased by the collection agency was in need of a significant and expensive technological upgrade in order to continue running its operations out of that particular location.  It was cheaper for American Coradius to close that facility.

William Pinkney, chief executive officer of the Amherst-based company, told The Buffalo News that he expects most of 28 employees to transfer within the company.
