I.C. System recently passed a third-party audit to maintain its status as a Certified Agency through ACA’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) program. PPMS is a management system for collection agencies based upon developing, implementing, and adhering to a set of industry-specific professional practices and policies.

“Your status as an ACA Certified Agency reflects your agency’s dedication to providing quality collection services,” stated Ted Smith, CAE, Chief Operating Officer for ACA International. “As an ACA Certified Agency, you are part of an elite group moving the industry forward toward greater excellence.”

Agencies completing PPMS certification must excel in 18 areas for promoting client satisfaction, including: Control of Client & Customer Supplied Data, Data Identification & Traceability, Information Management Systems & Technical Infrastructure Administration, Training, and Process & Client Satisfaction Measurements.

Only 69 Agencies have obtained this coveted and respected certification throughout its eleven year existence.  The process of earning certification is more than just a one-time stamp of approval.  An elaborate and ongoing process of evaluation and compliance to the programs requirements ensures that agencies which maintain this certification truly stand out as examples of collection industry excellence, in process as well as in practice.
