The debt collection law firm of Riddle & Wood, PC, announces that the firm’s founder and senior partner, Jesse L. Riddle, has retired from practicing law in the debt collection industry.

Mr. Riddle has been a vocal advocate of the collection industry for over 15 years.  He will continue to practice law on a case-by-case basis and focus on business interests in Asia and South America. He and his wife are also involved in community, religious, and charitable activities.

As a result of this development, the firm has changed its name to Wood Law, PC.

David Wood, president and managing attorney commented, “We will miss Jesse’s strong leadership and command of collection law. We are grateful for his tireless efforts and devotion to our clients and the firm over the years. We will continue honoring the role of advocate for this important industry as we counsel and collect for our clients during these challenging times.”

Founded in 1997, the firm provides a pre-litigation pre-arbitration collection service to debt buyers and creditors across the country for various types of portfolios, including credit card, telecom, and medical paper, and subrogation claims.
