Plano, TX – In July Southwest Credit celebrated 35 years of successfully providing professional accounts receivable services across various industries.  Since its beginning in 1974, the company has focused on implementing wining collection strategies for its clients. Southwest Credit believes that consistently providing high performance has been one of the main contributors to the company’s success and sets them apart from other agencies.

Since the first day, Southwest Credit has been committed to providing Value, Integrity and Performance to its partners, stakeholders, and employees. The company’s continued ability to achieve that depends on maximizing client’s liquidation goals and the efforts of dedicated and capable employees.

“We thank our clients for their business and continued loyalty. We also thank our employees for their hard work and dedication,” said Jeff Hurt, CEO. “We recognize that the contributions they make have helped Southwest Credit maintain the success and growth we have experienced over the years.”

Within the past year, Southwest Credit has achieved SAS 70 Type II Certification, PCI DSS 1.2 Certification, and implemented stringent security audits to meet high standards in protecting their customers’ sensitive and restricted data. Internally, the company has implemented initiatives to recognize the strategic value of building a highly engaged workforce. Training courses have been expanded to include different departments and roles. The company has revamped its employee recognition program and an internal communication plan has been implemented. Some of the internal communication deliverables include newsletters, Town Halls, celebrations, as well as mentoring programs. The objective is to foster the company’s culture based on the mission statement values: Value, Integrity, and Performance.

Southwest Credit celebrated its anniversary with a weeklong birthday bash; some of the festivities included a pizza party; cake day; blue day-in which employees wore all blue to show their Southwest Credit spirit; Pancake breakfast-in which the management team cooked and served employees; and ended with a Friday fun day which included birthday games.  The celebration was a great way to thank employees for their hard work and have some fun!
