HOUSTON – United Recovery Systems, L.P. (URS), a leading first- and third-party debt collection firm, announced it has named George A. Williams as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Williams brings significant financial services experience to URS.

“George’s broad experience in positions of financial leadership will be a great asset to the company,” said Jim Kelleher, President of URS.

After beginning his career in 1978 as an auditor with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Mr. Williams moved on to various senior positions in asset management and financial services, including EVP and CFO at Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Inc. (1994 – 1997), and SVP of Finance and Administration at OneSource, Inc. (1997 – 2001). Most recently, Mr. Williams served as CFO for Nationwide Credit, a global call center and receivables management firm.

Mr. Williams holds a BBA from St. Bonaventure University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.
