US Biometrics Corp. and Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) have created a partnership to provide financial industry professionals with secure and convenient access to individual workstations, software applications and networks. CSI’s Passport™ suite of products now has the ability to biometrically authenticate user identity and provide authorization – prior to allowing access. In laymen’s terms, a user’s fingerprint is his password.

CSI has chosen to utilize US Biometrics’ PassQ™ (password management technology) and CentralQ (centralized resource and biometric repository) technology for their product offering.

“Biometrics makes the overall logical authentication process more convenient and more secure for the financial industry overall, for individual institutions, and for consumers. With new regulations coming out, our partnership with US Biometrics allows us to provide the best possible security and improve the bottom line of our customers by streamlining and managing authentication processes,” said Bob Ezell , Vice President Product Marketing of CSI. “Biometric password management is a scalable solution that is helping the industry be more accurate and secure with their transactions while reducing costs and risks associated with password management. We have already received great response from our customers.”

“Biometrics not only provides a high level of security for the financial industry and their facilities,” adds Dave Delgrosso, President of US Biometrics, “but the technology is also easy to use, cost-effective, and more convenient than other alternatives which, in the end, improves processes and profitability.”
