Net Gain Marketing, Inc. today released data from the firm’s GovWatch operations indicating that requests for proposal (RFPs) from public sector entities seeking to outsource collection operations yielded more than $23,8 billion in portfolios available for bidding and eventual servicing during the second quarter of 2008.
From April 1, 2008 through the end of June, there were more than 80 contracts let out for bid, including those let out by:
  • The State of Maryland
  • The City of Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Montana State University
New outsourcing opportunities this past quarter from entities that have either never before outsourced collections or that outsourced a new portfolio included those announced by:
  • MI-Connection
  • Monroe County, NY
  • Arkansas Rehabilitation Services
