The Northstar Companies, a Third Generation Full Service Receivables Management Organization, today announced the complete installation of the government approved Patrick Townsend encryption ?data-at-rest? software. The software which ensures all critically sensitive consumer data is encrypted ?at-rest? has been fully integrated within Northstar?s proprietary collection application, The Profiler.

With their integrated dial and Intelligent Messaging Delivery (IMD), Northstar has completed their full-phase security plan by ensuring data integrity through encrypted data-at-rest technology. Encryption is commonly done during data transmissions or saving to a media. Uniquely, Northstar encrypts data while residing on their database system, the eServer I5 system, thus protecting sensitive information from outside intrusion by hackers or viruses.

The Northstar Companies is excited about this new technology and what it means to their existing and potential clients. Aaron Castle, CEO of Northstar says, ?We are one of the first collection agencies to incorporate ?data-at-rest? technology. With over 30 years in the collection industry, we offer unprecedented service and security to our clients.?
