A Colorado man was formally charged Monday in the murder of collection agency founder and president, J.P. Kelso.

Timothy Boham, 25, was charged by Denver police with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. Kelso was found shot in his home late last Monday. Police allege that some time over that previous weekend, Boham killed Kelso.

Boham was apprehended at the U.S.-Mexican border in Arizona last Thursday. He is still in Arizona awaiting extradition to Colorado.

Officials have acknowledged that Boham worked at the Denver collection agency Kelso co-founded, Professional Recovery Systems, but little else is known about the connection between the two men.
