I.C. System has passed its fourth third-party audit to maintain its status as a Certified Agency through ACA’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) program. The audit confirms I.C. System’s continued adherence to practices that promote ethically responsible and legally compliant organizations. I.C. System became certified in 2002 and was among the first 10 agencies worldwide to be recognized by ACA for completing the highly regarded program.

PPMS is a management system for collection agencies that is based upon developing, implementing and adhering to a set of industry-specific professional practices and policies. Developing and documenting a PPMS is the core of ACA’s agency certification program. “PPMS certified agencies are an elite group that represents best practices in the credit and collection industry,” said Ted Smith, CAE, Vice President of Programs for ACA International. “By completing this program and maintaining their certification, I.C. System truly demonstrates its dedication to providing quality collection services.”

“Service organizations like I.C. System that have completed the PPMS certification process have a distinct industry advantage,” adds Smith. “Knowing your agency is certified assures you are dealing with a qualified, professional business partner.” Agencies completing PPMS certification must excel in 17 areas for promoting client satisfaction, including: Control of Client & Customer Supplied Data, Data Identification & Traceability, Internal Management Audits, Training, and Process & Client Satisfaction Measurements.
