Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG ), a global leader in relationship management, announced today a contract to expand the customer care services it provides to UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) by serving the members of its Ovations’ SecureHorizons program. UnitedHealth Group, an innovative leader in the health and well-being industry, helps more than 70 million Americans achieve optimal health through its seven businesses: UnitedHealthcare, Ovations, AmeriChoice, Uniprise, OptumHealth, Ingenix, and Prescription Solutions.

Convergys will expand the number of customer relationship programs it manages for SecureHorizons’ senior members, responding to general questions about health benefits, eligibility status and issues, claim inquiries, requests for member materials, primary care physician changes, prescription coverage, and prescription benefits. Convergys, which has been assisting UnitedHealthcare since 2005 with relationship management solutions, will also add a number of employees to service the account.
