The Belmont County (WV) Department of Job and Family Services has set yet another record for child support collections.


Dwayne Pielech, director of the agency, announced Wednesday that workers and managers at the department?s Child Support Enforcement office collected nearly $11 million in 2005, topping the average of previous years? record-setting numbers for collections by more than $330,000.


Over the past several years, the department has steadily increased its total annual collections. Pielech attributed the increased collections to a number of factors.
