A UK debt collector is worse for wear after she was attacked Friday by a man wearing a Frankenstein Hallowe?en mask.

The woman, a 59-year old Lancashire resident, was conducting her door-to-door rounds when she was attacked. The masked man banged the woman?s head repeatedly against the pavement.

Names of the attacker and the victim have not yet been released.

The attacker escaped with a wallet containing more than £1,000 in cash and checks. He didn?t get far, however; running in one direction, he was nearly stopped by a man in his 60s. When the attacker turned to run the opposite direction, he was tripped by a man in his 20s.

DS Mick Cross, of Accrington CID, told the UK Citizen, ?This was an unprovoked attack on a vulnerable woman who was going about her daily job as she has for the past 30 years.?
