Allied Global Holdings Inc announced today that for the eighth consecutive year it has achieved the status of one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies. Because of this achievement, it has once again achieved Platinum Club member status with Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies program. AGHI first achieved Platinum Club status in 2005.

Platinum Club members form an elite group of Canadian-owned and managed companies that consistently excel in every aspect of business. To become a Platinum Club member, companies must maintain their designation as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for a minimum of six consecutive years, subject to annual operational and financial review.

Established in 1993, Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business award programs and is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, Queen’s School of Business, and the National Post.  The award recognizes Canadian firms that have distinguished themselves by implementing world-class best practices. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.
