Auto-loan provider AmeriCredit Corp. said Monday its fiscal second-quarter earnings rose 34 percent as loan purchases increased, and the company raised its 2006 guidance.


Net income grew to $86.6 million, or 59 cents per share, from $64.6 million, or 39 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue rose 30 percent to $448.1 million from $344.8 million last year.
