Denver, CO – Recently Michael Horstmann was named president of Associated Collection Agencies of Colorado & Wyoming, Inc. This will be his second term as president, having served before from 1995-1996. He has also served on several committees and the Board of Directors for the organization numerous times.

Michael holds a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Oklahoma. He has a banking background having worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. After working at the “Fed” he began his career in the collection industry in 1991. Michael is the president/CEO of Agency of Credit Control, Inc. which specializes in accounts receivable management for the western United States. He has owned and operated ACC since 1993. In addition, he has served on the Board of Direc-tors and as an executive for the Western Collectors Association.

He has served as a National Director for ACA International (formerly American Collectors Association). During his tenure, ACC has nearly quadrupled in size in terms of number of employees, gross collections and net fees.
