Dallas – Being able to drive performance of a credit card portfolio at the cardholder level compelled Money One FCU of Largo, Maryland, to convert the processing of its $8 million card program to TNB Card Services.

Money One will now have the ability to implement an array of new features for its 2,700 cardholders, including pricing based both on member risk and relationships the cardholder has with the credit union. TNB’s Rewards2U® loyalty program will also be implemented, which will help strengthen the attractiveness of Money One’s credit card offering among its members.

The credit union will also benefit from TNB’s portfolio management tools – VIP CardStationTM and VIP Portfolio ProTM. CardStation will simplify the setup and maintenance of Money One’s card accounts, allowing real-time views of available credit and transaction authorizations. Portfolio Pro’s reporting capabilities will give Money One deep insight into the daily, weekly, and monthly performance of the portfolio. That will enable Money One to identify key trends it can use to drive revenue and growth opportunities, and also to improve its risk management capabilities.

“While we have a healthy card portfolio, our current processing platform has limited capabilities, which has prohibited us from doing much with our card products,” said Terri Groff, vice president of member services for Money One FCU. “TNB gives us more features and functionality to drive card usage and acquire new cardholders.”

Groff added, “We choose to partner with TNB because they have proven they know how to manage card portfolios and have the tools to drill down to the member level, which will help us better market and manage our card products so we can increase penetration and usage.”

Money One FCU, established in 1951, has 14,000 members.
