Jackson County has partnered with National Recovery Agency to collect delinquent accounts for the county’s solid waste program.

The agency will charge no fee except the 22 percent it keeps from any money it collects for the county. The county will retain the right to decide when cases go to court and even when cases are turned over to the collection agency, according to John Porter, county attorney.

The county’s contract will initially be for six months.
