Creditors Interchange Receivable Management, LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held accounts receivable management firms, is proud to announce that it has raised nearly $4,000 in its annual Chinese auction to benefit Cornerstone Manor, a division of the Buffalo City Mission that provides emergency shelter for women and children seeking protection from city streets.

Each November since 2002, Creditors Interchange, under the lead of Fran Carroll, a long-time employee and supporter of Cornerstone Manor, has sponsored this auction, collecting and raffling off creative baskets from staff in an attempt to raise funds for the shelter.  In past years, the Company has raised enough money to provide Thanksgiving meals for all of the residents at Cornerstone.

However, both Creditors Interchange and Cornerstone Manor suffered a great loss when Carroll passed away earlier this year.  In an effort to preserve her legacy, Carroll’s co-workers continued this tradition and despite a depressed economy, raised nearly twice as much as in years past.  Funds from this year’s auction will be used to provide Thanksgiving dinner, along with bedding, toiletries and other necessities to those in need this holiday season.

Their employees are also hard at work planning their annual “decorating” party at the manor.  Each year, in early December, Creditors Interchange sends a team of employees to the shelter to help the women and children deck the halls of the Manor for the upcoming holiday season.  Staff arrive, donning Santa hats and reindeer ears, bringing warm winter clothing, cosmetics, decorations, confections and beverages to spread some cheer for the afternoon’s festivities.  This year’s events are scheduled for December 2, 2011.

Yet, Cornerstone Manor is not the only organization the employees of Creditors Interchange champion.  In fact, over the last 3 years, the Company has donated nearly $500,000.00 of employee-raised funds to local and national charities, including annual support of organizations like the Food Bank of Western New York, Carly’s Club for Kids and Cancer Research, Camp Good Days and Special Times, the American Red Cross, to name a few.  This ongoing commitment to the community sets Creditors Interchange apart from other agencies.

Creditors Interchange is a full service, nationally licensed collections and accounts receivable management firm headquartered in Buffalo, New York.  Founded in 1960 as a collection agency, Creditors Interchange has grown to become one of the industry’s top privately held receivable management firms.  Creditors Interchange currently services the nation’s leading credit issuers, including banks and credit unions, credit card issuers, debt purchasers, auto lenders, student lenders and many other industries.
