Firstsource and Barclaycard US Receive Prestigious Outsourcing Excellence Award from Outsourcing Center

Firstsource Solutions, a global provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, announced Wednesday it is the recipient of the Outsourcing Excellence Award from the Outsourcing Center, sponsored by Everest Group. The relationship-based award in the Most Collaborative category honors Firstsource’s successful relationship with Barclaycard US. Firstsource and Barclaycard were chosen from a group of 17 semi-finalists for one of nine awards.

For more than a decade, the Outsourcing Excellence Awards have recognized the world’s best outsourcing relationships. Firstsource and Barclaycard US were honored for demonstrating the most collaborative partnership, exhibiting strong communication and a shared vision to achieve success for the program. Firstsource began work with Barclaycard in 2008 when it acquired the company’s Colorado Springs operations facility to enhance service delivery for Barclaycard’s customers and partners.

Firstsource’s work with Barclaycard US includes customer service, debt collection (early stage, inbound/outbound), customer retention, back office services (account maintenance, payment processing and records research). Additionally, Firstsource has assisted with disputes management, escalated call management and fraud protection services.
