Honorably discharged veterans will enjoy a paid day off this Veteran’s Day at Mercantile Adjustment Bureau as the Company pays them thanks for their service.

“I am proud to support our service men and women, a day off are the least we can do to thank our vets. I am excited for the opportunity to give something to them after all they have done for us”, said Mercantile CEO Jeff Miller.

Mercantile challenges other agencies to recognize their U.S. military veteran employees as well. It is a small contribution that every agency can afford to make and I hope Mercantile’s effort will inspire others to join in”, said Miller.

Employees at Mercantile are glad to pitch in when it comes to assisting veterans. Employees have generously donated supplies that are sent to deployed troops on a regular basis. Additionally, Mercantile set up fundraising this month in support of ARMing Heros, a nonprofit organization trying to raise $10,000 for U.S. military veterans. This fundraising effort result in Mercantile’s employees having raised $1,100.00 and The Company contributing $500.00 for a total of $1,600.00 toward ARMing Heros’ goal of $10,000.

“I appreciate this recognition and am looking forward to a paid day of R&R this Veteran’s Day”, said Former U.S. Army Lt. and Mercantile employee, John Robbins. Robbins recently returned home from his second deployment in Afghanistan.
