Multi-Specialty Clinics in Washington Outsource Revenue Cycle Management to Per-Se Technologies

Per-Se Technologies, the Connective Healthcare leader that helps physicians, pharmacies and hospitals realize their financial goals, today announced that Overlake Medical Clinics, LLC, a multi-specialty group of 31 physicians in Bellevue, Washington, has outsourced its revenue cycle management services to Per-Se for its five locations. Under the long-term agreement, Per-Se is providing its MedAxxis ASP practice management system as well as managing claims submissions, patient billing and accounts receivable follow up to assist with increasing cash flow and timely payments. Overlake Medical Clinics is a multi-specialty practice owned by Overlake Hospital Medical Center, a 337-bed, nonprofit regional medical center offering a full range of advanced medical services.

Darin Libby, director of physician and business development for Overlake Medical Clinics, indicated a key component to the selection of Per-Se was the additional Web-based reporting functionality. This capability includes executive summary reports that provide a snapshot of the practice’s financial health through key metrics such as denial percentages, days in AR and gross collection rates. Additionally, he cited Per-Se’s comprehensive, full-service offering that includes Per-Se’s front-end MedAxxis ASP practice management solution combined with Per-Se’s industry leading proactive revenue cycle management services.
