Southampton, PA — Employees at Penncro Associates, Inc., a national collection agency, are helping to support consumer education in April during Collectors Challenge Month, a national campaign benefiting the ACA International Education Foundation.

The money raised will allow the ACA International Education Foundation to expand its financial literacy programs, such as providing free electronic Community Education Kits on consumer rights and money management basics, the Receivables Management Training Program giving persons with disabilities access to employment in the accounts receivable field, the Foundation’s annual consumer outreach campaign, National Credit Education Week, and the Foundation’s latest initiative, the Personal Financial Management Web Course—a free online money management training program available to consumers as a public service.

“It is important that we educate our staff on the changes in the marketplace and what ways we can help the consumers we contact improve their financial situation,” said Jennifer Ditnes, VP of Administration. “Helping the consumers we contact reach a positive outcome is a win-win scenario for everyone.”
