Colorado District Attorney Carol Chambers (Arapahoe County) might be said to have an “intimidation” problem.  Last October, Chambers was accused of threatening a debt collection attorney with a grand jury investigation.  She was publicly censured for this bit of bullying in December.

She’s back in the spotlight, again for intimidation, only this time it’s a judge and not a collection attorney.

James O’Connor, the head of the district’s public defender’s office, is alleging that Chambers wrote several e-mails that could be considered "veiled threats" against a judge, Judge Valeria Spencer.

According to Colorado’s Channel 9 News, Chambers writes to the district court administrator that "if a judge shows overt hostility" to her prosecutors, "there absolutely will be docket control problems in that division."

The state Supreme Court’s Attorney Regulation Counsel, which monitors complaints of lawyer misconduct, will investigate the matter.
