European accounts receivable management company Lindorff Group announced today that it has reached the top 100 list of preferred employers among economy students in Norway.

"This is the first time ever a collection agency has made this list and it’s a great achievement for Lindorff," said Lindorff Group HR director Mr. Peter R. Gillies.

Lindorff appears in 75th place among the 100 most preferred employers for students finishing their economy studies in Norway. Around Lindorff’s position on the list are companies like Acergy, ABB, Unilever and Oracle.

The study is compiled by Universum. Founded in 1988, Universum considers itself the world leader in employer branding, stating that "Employer branding is the strategy companies use to achieve their desired appeal on current and future ideal talent."

"Being an attractive employer is key to any company with strong growth ambitions," said Mr. Gillies.

In Norway, some 1800 economy students have voted for their favorite future employers this year. Hence, more people are likely to join their MBA fellows in the company.

"Our international presence in 11 countries, combined with aggressive expansion plans, provides an array of challenging job opportunities in an international setting. Furthermore, I think that our reputation for delivering professional performance is attractive to young, talented people," said Mr. Peter Gillies.
