Mercantile Adjustment Expands Footprint with Acquisition

Collection agency Mercantile Adjustment Bureau, LLC Tuesday announced the opening of their third operating center, located in Tampa, Florida.  Mercantile assumed the staff, assets and lease from another accounts receivable management provider to accommodate recent growth experienced primarily from clients in the bankcard and debt purchasing sectors.  

Commenting on the acquisition, Mercantile’s President and CEO, Jeffrey Miller said, “We are very excited about the quality and experience of the staff in Tampa, as well as the opportunity to expand our operations footprint to the southeast region.”

Mercantile also operates major call centers in Williamsville and Rochester, New York.  

Mercantile has provided collection and recovery services to bankcard, debt purchasing, automotive, consumer lending, utility, education and medical clients since 1934.  Among Mercantile’s client roster are top five card issuers and debt purchasers.
