Encore Capital Group Sets Dates for First Quarter 2009 Results and Upcoming Investor Day

SAN DIEGO — Encore Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECPG) announced today that it will release its financial results for the first quarter of 2009 on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, before the market opens.

The Company also announced today that it will host its third annual investor day on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in New York City, following the conclusion of its annual meeting business. Presentations by Encore’s management team are scheduled to begin shortly after 9:00 a.m. ET and conclude by approximately noon ET.
