Credit Union to Release RFP for Collection Services

Santa Fe Springs – GTE Federal Credit Union will release an RFP for collection agency services on December 15th. RFP responses are due January 12th.

Founded in 1935 during the Great Depression, GTE Federal Credit Union is one of the largest locally owned and operated financial institutions in Tampa Bay, with $1.8 billion in assets.

Accounts to be placed for collection include delinquent mortgages, auto deficiencies, credit cards and unsecured loans. Most are located in Florida. First and second placement agencies will be added.

To participate, interested collection agencies should register at the pre-qualification portal at www.debtconnection.com/gtefcu/. Basic information is requested for pre-qualification of vendors. The Request for Proposal will be sent to qualified candidates on December 15th, with responses due by January 12th. The decision timeline is set for the week of January 18th.
