Beverly, MA – Castel, Inc. a leading supplier of predictive dialer solutions, announced today that the company has been granted a patent on their proprietary, leading edge customer interaction management technology.

The Castel system employs out-of-band signaling and bi-directional command and control, and communicates directly with the network carrier using services such as ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network). Castel’s technology allows the user a greater degree of control over call origination and progression functions. For example, a user can dynamically assign the caller ID based upon the location of the called party. Users can display a local number regardless of the area code or geographic location from which the call was originated.

Castel’s technology provides users better manageability over each call. It is ideal for companies that require a greater degree of control over their calling strategies, whether for compliance with state-to-state call regulations or simply touching more customers. The patent applies to any protocol that is used in conjunction with out-of-band signaling to control the call.

“This patent applies to one of our core technologies and is an integral part of the overall solution,” said Castel’s EVP Engineering and Operations Paul Maggioli. “Our ability to deliver at least twice as many calls as other predictive dialing solutions is built around this technology so it was a natural decision to patent it,” he said.

The new patent will allow Castel to further invest in the newest technology and continue to lead the industry in customer interaction management applications.
