Due in part to some client restructuring, National Asset Recovery Services Inc. is cutting about 90 jobs from its Chesterfield, Missouri-based facility at the end of March.

Three clients have decided not to renew with NARS, according to a statement from Gregory Cappa, executive vice president.

After the layoffs NARS will have about 125 employees left in St. Louis; 150 in Cape Girardeau; and 2,300 others at facilities in Panama City, Panama, and Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Though NARS is reducing staff at its Chesterfield facility, it is adding jobs to its newly opened call center in Cape Girardeau.  NARS is hoping to employ about 500 operators at this facility by the end of the year.  By that time, NARS also hopes to add 2,700 staff to its international call centers.
