Austin, Texas-based Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) has officially launched its new business model for the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (Mobility Authority). MSB was chosen to provide a total package solution for the Mobility Authority’s billing and collection needs for the 183A toll road in Austin, Texas. The project is now live and MSB is sending toll bill notices to drivers who choose the cashless option to “pay by mail” while using the toll road.

MSB is the first collection agency to bundle toll billing, violations processing and collection services into one complete package. “Our goal is to simplify the administrative workload normally performed by toll authorities and their staff. MSB’s solution is superior because it integrates all back office operations at no cost to the toll road Authority. We have the experience necessary to effectively handle all billing and collection logistics so Regional Mobility Authorities can focus on the operation and maintenance of the toll roads,” said Patrick J. Swanick, Chief Executive Officer of MSB.

In addition to sending toll bill notices, MSB will be responsible for processing all violations and collecting any outstanding obligations owed to Mobility Authority. Drivers can satisfy their obligations by making payments online, by phone, by mail, or in person at MSB’s corporate office in Austin, Texas.
