Computers Unlimited and A/R Allegiance Group have partnered to develop enhanced integration between TIMS software and CollectPlus.

Although the TIMS software provides a robust system for order intake and billing workflow, communicating with patients to collect on balances can still be labor intensive.

"Both Computers Unlimited and A/R Allegiance specialize in optimizing business processes and maximizing efficiency in our own way," says Heidi Thometz, Director of Sales for Computers Unlimited. "Automating communication between TIMS and A/R Allegiance capitalizes on two great systems, further increasing income and reducing costs for businesses."

With the planned integration, TIMS will upload to CollectPLUS a secure file of predetermined accounts requiring collection, and CollectPlus will manage billing communication with the patient for each account. As the account progresses, CollectPlus will automatically send updates back to TIMS.

"Years of real-life client feedback and study have gone into the development of this first-ever solution that takes the whole A/R process into consideration," says Bruce Gehring, Vice President of National Business Development for A/R Allegiance. "The real secret of our success lies not in what we do but in how we do it."

The planned integration was presented at Computers Unlimited’s annual User’s Group conference in September. Once the project begins, Computers Unlimited estimates it will take only a few weeks to complete.
