Oxford Management Services (OMS) announced today that it has launched a fourth U.S. site in Fort Pierce, Florida, effective October 13th.   The new location, billed as the company’s newest “Solutions Center,” is approximately 24,000 square feet.  It is capable of supporting not only first- and third-party collection operations, but also early-stage delinquency programs, customer service, loss mitigation, and other forms of business process outsourcing.  The center is expected to employ over 500 associates.

According to OMS’ Executive Vice President, Charles Harris, the company is “very excited about this new site, which shows the continued commitment OMS has not only our partners, but also to the communities in which we are located.”

OMS management was drawn to the Fort Pierce area based on the concentration of call center employees available in the labor market and the willingness of local government to facilitate job growth through incentives.

The announcement of the opening OMS’ fourth location comes a little more than a year after OMS relocated and expanded its third U.S. location in Scranton, PA.  The Fort Pierce location gives OMS a second site in Florida to go along with a separate location in West Palm Beach.  OMS will continue operations out of its Melville, NY, location.

The company’s addition of new locations now and in the past year are a result of organic growth OMS continues to enjoy, which has included the acquisition of contracts with brand-name financial creditors in the credit card, mortgage, and alternative student loan sectors.
