Ontario Systems, a leading accounts receivable management software provider, has announced Validity E-Consent, a new email product that allows users to send compliant, secure emails to debtors, saving up to 92% over traditional mailing costs.

The product was developed in partnership with CompuMail, one of the leading collection-letter companies in the country, so there is a high level of security built into the program.  Letters sent through Validity E-Consent are emailed as secure PDF files, protected by a password chosen by the debtor. As a result, users know the letter reaches the correct party—with no lost envelopes or mailing delays. Validity E-Consent works with Ontario Systems’ FACS Mail and Link Letter.

“Each standard postal collections letter a company sends typically costs around 60 cents each, but an email can be as little as 5 cents; however, many companies were concerned about regulatory compliance and security, so they did not take advantage of the technology. Now, companies can send email collections letters confident they are compliant, reaching the right people and saving a tremendous amount of money,” according to LeAnne Hester, chief marketing officer, Ontario Systems.

“We are very excited about the release of this innovative product and the continued relationship and integration with Ontario Systems for our mutual clients and partners,” added Mary Orebaugh-McDaniel, client relations manager, CompuMail.

With a simple software upgrade, the same interfaces and controls are extended to allow FACS customers to reach consumers in a more cost-effective, secure manner. The integration with CompuMail ensures rapid deployment and dependable service.
