Financial Debt Recovery Ltd. (FDR), a leading provider of collection and debt purchasing services across Canada, has named Andy Wood as its Vice President, Corporate Development & Client Care and Michelle Jackson as General Counsel to the company.

With over 20 years of experience in the receivable management and call centre field, Andy has a great reputation within the North American receivable management industry and has an impressive track record of successes. Over the course of his career, Andy has held executive level positions at some of the top business process outsourcing companies in North America with responsibilities in strategic acquisitions and partnerships, sales growth, marketing initiatives, client services, customer relationship management, debt purchasing and web related programs. Andy obtained his B.A. from the University of Guelph.

Michelle is General Counsel to FDR and in that position is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on all aspects of the company. Since her call to the Ontario bar, Michelle has worked in private practice and has broad experience in various areas of law gained whilst working in full service law firm environments, including one of Canada’s largest law firms.

Prior to joining FDR, Michelle’s legal practice was focused primarily on commercial litigation, corporate/commercial and employment law.Michelle obtained her B.A. (Hons.) from York University and her J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
