NEW YORK and MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Signaling a commitment to expand its business in the Twin Cities region, iQor, Inc., a global provider of business process outsourcing services (BPO), announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Minneapolis that has the capacity for over 1,000 employees.

“iQor has deep roots in the Twin Cities,” said Vikas Kapoor, President and Chief Executive Officer of iQor.  “The region has been a terrific market for us, and will continue to be a key part of our global footprint.  We plan to add an initial 60 people to our workforce by the end of this year, and grow another 15% by December 2010. This new facility allows us room for continued growth, with a goal of increasing our capacity to more than 1,000 employees."

The Minneapolis Center will operate on TeQ21, iQor’s fully integrated, award-winning technology suite.  TeQ21 is a new kind of Enterprise Resource Planning system offering a level of automation, flexibility and ease-of-use not seen in any of the ERP systems on the market today.

iQor’s new 49,000 square-foot Minneapolis Center of Excellence, located at 12755 State Highway 55, is less than seven miles from iQor’s previous location.  iQor currently employs 550 agents in the region.  Hiring for new positions will take place during the remainder of the year.  No interview necessary.
