Salt Lake City, Utah — The Oklahoma City office of Works & Lentz recently announced that they are keeping collections contacts and revenue up by using the CT Center dialing solutions from IAT to call between 8,000 – 10,000 accounts a day.

A collection law firm with two offices in Oklahoma, Works & Lentz has responded to an increase in the amount of accounts by using CT Center’s dialing technology to make up the difference.

“We’ve been able to utilize the dialer to work the additional files without increasing employee cost,” Kevin Cochran, Collection Manager, said. “You don’t have to pay the dialer a salary, but you still get the same amount of work.”

IAT, a Utah-based company founded in 1986, specializes in dialing technology for debt collections and related industries. They provide both on-site dialers and hosted solutions, with predictive dialing and IVR Messaging (broadcast messaging) capabilities.

Works & Lentz uses both predictive dialing and IVR Messaging. Both collection law firm offices began using IAT’s dialing technology in 1996 with their legacy dialer product, SmartDial. Cochran liked SmartDial, but he was even more impressed in 2002 with their upgraded system, CT Center. “I love CT Center even more, because it’s much quicker, more efficient and has improved my overall collections.”

Cochran uses CT Center’s flexibility to meet his daily dialing needs. With PD, he can create a list for 10 account managers to use or just one. “CT Center allows me better control of what an account manager’s doing,” said Cochran. “I don’t have to worry about them not working hard because the dialer is going to make them work hard.”

“IAT’s goal is to help keep agents busy while they’re connected to the dialer,” Ray Fowler, IAT National Sales Manager, said. “Our dialer’s robust pacing, also known in the industry as an integrated ACD, uses sophisticated algorithms to determine how many calls to make for each agent—depending on hit rate, agent average talk time and wrap up time—in order to keep agents busy talking to live contacts. We’re pleased that our technology is helping Works & Lentz to be so successful.”
