Mid-America ACB, a fast-growing medical collections agency in Joplin, Missouri, has chosen to add IAT ’s site-premised predictive dialer, CT Center, to its game plan to help make their agents more productive and maintain their competitive edge.

Mid-America ACB tripled its employee count in the past three years from 10 employees to 30- plus employees with 18 collectors. The agency began in 1974 with a rented typewriter, a rented cash register and two employees – a husband and wife. Mike Bower joined his parents’ business as Vice President a couple of years ago and immediately began investigating dialing technology as a way to revolutionize their collection process.

With the company already using a hosted dialing service, Bower knew a dialer produced good results. “I was blown away by the difference I learned having a site-premised dialer could make with virtual integration, connection to agents and management monitoring options.” Bower found IAT through his host software company, who suggested using IAT’s dialer CT Center over their own because the capabilities of CT center were a lot greater and the price was similar.

A favorite CT Center feature for Bower is Manager Center, the control panel used by supervisors to create and monitor lists and manage agents. “Manager Center has real-time reports you can run and a status screen where you can show what your collectors are doing at any given time. Our previous collection software did not allow us to monitor as well as I would have liked. With Manager Center, it’s going to make managing the call center much easier.”

“Agent monitoring is becoming more and more important in collection agencies,” Jeff Savage, IAT National Sales Manager, said. “It’s difficult to harness the power of dialing technology if you struggle to keep agents consistently working on the dialer. With features like Manager Center, an agent’s actions become more transparent. Agents stay productive when they know others are aware of what they do.”
